In addition to this Amy has also been considered a leader in the coaching community. As a former executive for Coach U, one of the first coach training schools ever in the world and today one of the largest and most prestigious in the industry, she was instrumental in building Coach U into what it is today. Amy was also one of the first life coaches in Chicago and is a founding member of the Chicago ICF chapter. She helped lay the foundation for what is now a large and flourishing community of local coaches.

Amy was also a committee member for the ICF where coach certification criteria, content and competencies were created. She is a strong advocate of the ICF and coach certification. Amy has passionately championed coaching into the world in many ways and continues to do so today.

Amy has built a successful coaching practice from the ground floor up. She has two successful business start-ups in her business repertoire and first hand experience at what it takes to start and maintain a successful business. She attributes her success to tenacity, determination and an unbridled passion coupled with a deep and consistent commitment to her own personal development. Amy has enjoyed a full practice (28 to 33 clients) for many years and has helped hundreds of other coaches do the same.
